Paul Atkinson and Gene Schorsch

Paul Atkinson believes that much of what is happening today had its roots in a covert operaton that stole the 1980 election from President Carter and gave it to Ronald Reagan.

Paul Atkinson and Gene Schorsch, former President and Vice President of Sun Shipbuilding, decided to penetrate once and for all the underlying Reagan/Casey and Sun conspiracy that resulted in the coup d'etat of the US govt. in 1980 and the sale of the Sun Ship assets to Paden interests in 1981. The coup d'etat has been widely documented with the main thrust generally agreed upon by at least a dozen carefully written and researched books and authoritative articles, but strangely not by the mainstream press. As you know this has come to be known as the October Surprise.

Most of you know that Rumor Mill News was started by Gunther and Rayelan Russbacher. Gunther was a CIA operative who has become known as, "The October Surprise Pilot".

Paul Atkinson contacted Rumor Mill News Radio several months ago because he had uncovered a memo from Rudy Guiliani.

Paul Atkiinson writes:

There was a five or six week period between receipt of the Carter CIA classified criminal referral in late Jan.'81 to Rudy's vanilla letter in mid March. My guess is the Democrats at some point threatened exposure during this period which cooler Republican heads wishing to avoid publicity finally decided to heed.

It looks like compromise meetings and secrecy of the referral through misclassification were agreed, and Rudy's vanilla letter resulted. Of course other facts incorporating different minor details are possible even probable, but it seems to me that the absence of the Carter CIA referral in the Iran/contra and October Surprise Congressional hearings is highly persuasive. The silence for months now of Sick, Zbig and Jimmy Carter himself in answering our more and more insistent letters adds to the certainty of the secret agreement. Adm. Turner's terse reply is even more convincing, as is Rudy Giuliani's lack of any comment on my detailed fax.

The ultimate result is that we have been governed by a cabal of self appointed political party leaders for a quarter of a century essentially without the Constitutional protection that the normal checks and balances provide. The lawlessness that followed included Iran contra, Iraqgate, S&Ls, the murder of Vince Foster, BCCI, Oklahoma City bombing, 911, the funding of Osama bin Laden and who knows how many of the other tragedies that occurred in this period

Paul Atkinson Writes:

Fortunately two most unlikely incidents have combined to enable us to expose this monumental fraud for the grand fake it really was. The negative fallout is apparent to this day.

First, it turns out that someone on the Carter team (maybe Carter himself) was understandably irate about the illegal '80 October Surprise. He or they took amazingly effective action in sending a CIA criminal referral to Wm. French Smith of the brand new Reagan DOJ (see subject description of Giuliani 3/16/81 letter) in the waning days of the Carter CIA. The PR threat of this "iron fist in a velvet glove" was evidently most effective, and has had extreme results on our Constitutional system of Government for the last quarter of a century.
This essentially gives unelected party leadership of either party the veto power over any act of the three Constitutionally defined branches of our Govt. - Legislative - Executive - Judicial. Whether this is all spelled out in a formal legal agreement is anybody's guess, but the passage of time and the conspiracy of silence that surrounds all this would seem to argue that there is such a document.

Unfortunately this negates Constitutional government. One wonders if this is the root of the many insidious actions of the last 25 years. Is the incoming Obama government aware of this and has it or will it take corrective action?

Second, it turns out that the vanishing at sea without a trace of the SS POET, a large 522 ft. seaworthy US flag ship and its 34 person US crew in October/November '80 was a fairy story that never occurred. Instead it now appears that the vessel carried weapons and aircraft missile spares to Iran to contain the invading Iraqis apparently as a concession to obtain Iranian agreement to the hostage release. After some 28 years the latest of 3 retired CIA agents again confirmed the other two's statements re the vessel's arrival in the Persian Gulf, and in addition indicated the Israelis had dispatched the ship and crew. See Wayne Madsen's web site posting of 7/2/08.

Our recent many month review of the US Coast Guard and NTSB official hearings years ago on the alleged grave marine tragedy of the vessel's vanishing without a trace revealed much dirty work at the crossroads as one would expect when false stories are being peddled. After repeatedly tripping over their own false statements they have since descended into silence. The thousands of documents, letters to and from the Coast Guard are readily available if and when they are needed.

(Paul Atkinson was forced to take down his webpage www.chesterchallenge.org. The following article from that page was found in the google cache, sadly, the links no longer work.)

Deceiving the American People from the Top of Both Political Parties

Finding out that the two political parties outwardly portray sharply differing views about certain issues of the day is hardly surprising. Indeed this happens every day.

However, when one discovers that the top politicos of the two parties are in cahoots secretly with each other, behind the scenes, and have specifically agreed to take a contrary position together, opposite to their public position, the time has come to put a quick end to this undemocratic action and impeach all concerned without further ado.

This is exactly what appears to have happened in the hard fought 1980 Presidential election. Its cover up continues today. Some three months after the 1980 election the Democrats submitted a CIA referral to the brand new Reagan DOJ of the details of how the Republicans using treasonous tactics had stolen the election. After several high level meetings the Republicans, finding the CIA referral analysis basically accurate, met with the Democrats.

The Democrats agreed to leave the election results intact, but extracted huge concessions in several critical areas. Both parties agreed to classify this illegal agreement, thus keeping it secret for some 26 years and 6 election cycles until Clinton's routine declassification order became effective.

This classification was inadvertently confirmed in June 1991 by President Reagan himself in his answer on a golf course to a reporter's question about the hostages release saying that he could not talk about his campaign's activities because "some of those things are still classified." No one questioned how documents about illegal talks between a foreign government and a presidential campaign could properly be classified.

A 3/16/81 memo written by Rudolph Giuliani is one such document that was classified for over 26 years.

Paul E. Atkinson and Eugene Schorsch became relators ( A beneficially interested person on whose behalf an action is maintained by a sovereign power or a state) in a $1.6 billion False Claims Act lawsuit on behalf of the United States whose underpinnings are the 1980 book cooking by their former employer, Sunoco Inc. The background to that lawsuit and other details can be found at http:www.chesterchallenge.org. The lawsuit concerns the largest fraud in Navy history about which the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (PSI) held two days of televised hearings Chaired by Senator William Roth and with Senator John McCain as a vocal major participant. PSI issued a 344 page transcript, arrived at no conclusion, issued no report and held no one accountable, prompting a written sworn ethics complaint against all the PSI members. In 1982 Sunoco sold its shipyard assets to the Navy contractor. Court ordered discovery disclosed the mechanism through which the Navy contractor was held under the ironbound control of Mellon Bank, it is believed for the CIA and as a continuing conspiracy begun in the 1980 election campaign.

Atkinson and Schorsch obtained the 3/16/81 Giuliani memo from the National Archives & Records Administration (NARA) and are now seeking documents related to that memo. Correspondence about this subject includes the following.

Atkinson/Sick email 12/12/07

Atkinson/Sick email 2/16/08 copy faxed to Zbigniew Brzezinski

Schorsch/Delahunt email 3/26/08

Schorsch/Sick email 4/9/08

Throughout the 1980 election Gary Sick, author of October Surprise, served on the National Security Council staff under President Carter. Zbigniew Brzezinski was President Carter's National Security Advisor. Representative William Delahunt (D-MA) is the current Chairman of the Oversight Subcommittee of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Atkinson and Schorsch have still not received the Enclosures to the 3/16/81 Giuliani memo or other directly related documents from NARA despite the following correspondence with NARA.

Schorsch/Vernon 2/25/08

Schorsch/Vernon 2/27/08

Vernon/Schorsch 3/13/08

Schorsch/Vernon 3/25/08

It is possible, but highly unlikely, that when the related documents are received, they will change the analysis that the 3/16/81 Giuliani memo refers to the deal made by the Republican campaign with a foreign government to influence the 1980 election campaign. It is noteworthy that the 3/16/81 memo with its Giuliani chosen subject title, CIA Referral - Alleged Foreign Government Interference With 1980 Presidential Election, never publicly surfaced in the House October Surprise inquiry initiated 2/5/92. Atkinson and Schorsch believe it did not because the top politicos of both parties agreed to its improper classification in lieu of prosecution and the cover up continues today with direction to NARA.

It is peculiar that no reply has been received from Gary Sick or Zbigniew Brzezinski given the wide recognition that October Surprise (the illegal deal between the Republicans and Iran) did occur and the major consequences on the 1980 election result and events since. The fact that the Democrats and Republicans probably agreed to bury this through improper classification techniques in early 1981 is scary indeed.

Consider the following as one possible scenario, depending on the facts.

1. In the almost three month transition period after the Reagan election victory much took place. This included the loss of the SS POET and her 34 man crew after delivering weapons to the Iranians, the ludicrous US Coast Guard hearings on the POET, and the astonishing Ben-Menashe/Robert Gates meeting in the Miami airport with huge amounts of cash followed by the Ben-Menashe/Gates transcontinental flight via Atlanta to Phoenix during which Gates explained in detail how the Israelis were to handle the ongoing flow of US weapons to Iran. Gates left Ben-Menashe at that point.

Ben-Menashe deposited $4 million in Earl Brian's bank account in the Valley Bank in Phoenix. He then flew to Geneva where he deposited the remaining $12 million in cash and $40 million in checks in the Iranian bank account in Banque Worms. This story seems like a tale out of Grimm's Fair Tales, but the amounts gee with the amounts agreed with the Iranians and most credibly the hostages were indeed released within minutes of Reagan's inauguration a few days later.

Near the end of the election to inauguration transition period a Carter group, including Stansfield Turner, put together a CIA referral alleging foreign interference in the 1980 Presidential election to the brand new Reagan Justice Department. This was timed to arrive after the Wm. French Smith confirmation as Attorney General and before William Casey's confirmation as DCI.
2.

On receipt of such an important document, the top Republican politicos assembled and concluded that all important details cited by the Democrats were indeed correct. They pondered and debated various alternatives finally agreeing to meet with the Democrats who agreed to leave the election situation as is, but required a veto on all the future Congressional actions and investigations or some other strong measures. There was roughly a month and a half available for meetings before Giuliani's letter to Keeney. The top Republican and Democratic politicos agreed to hide the truth.

3. Giuliani was instructed to proceed accordingly. The vanilla tone of his letter is the consequence. Who knows what happened but the American people deserve to know. How Sunoco fits into the picture at this point needs discovery. At this point Sunoco would have probably been a substantial creditor and an important member of the conspiracy with the CIA, Mellon and Penn Texas, the parent of the Navy contractor.

4. The meetings with the Democrats proceeded. All pledge secrecy, which is maintained until the unexpected 25-year proviso of Clinton's routine declassification order exposes the deceit, illegal behavior and cupidity.

Atkinson recognizing the indisputable 1980 book cooking by Sunoco, thought at first that to have an innocent explanation. Told lies (by Sunoco to reporters) Atkinson thought it to be securities or tax fraud but finding government agency duplicity (by DOJ, other agencies, and politicos) Atkinson and Schorsch surmised something larger was at play. Today October Surprise appears connected to the 1980 Sunoco book cooking, to the 1982 sham shipyard sale to agents controlled by Mellon for the CIA, to the loss of the POET and murder of its 34 seaman with cover up using USCG, with more confirmation coming out consequent to release of the 3/16/81 Giuliani memo. What strong steps should be taken to restore trust in our politicos and our political system?

This is the same old BS. The 'new' document says nothing of substance, and people are trying to spin it up into a gigantic conspiracy theory. SOS, from the usual conspiracy theory website suspects.
