Movie Review: Valkyrie

I think half of me wanted to watch Valkyrie just to see Tom Cruise and what Scientology has done to him. The verdict? Tom Cruise must be 50 or 60 years old by now. Yet he still could pass for 30. Scientology works! Removing thetans clearly reduces fine wrinkles and signs of aging!
Anyway, Valkyrie is supposedly a historically accurate portrayal of some nazi officers who try to assassinate Hitler and take over the government. They would have done it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids^H^H^H^Htable legs.
So we have bombings, lots of suspense, and ultimately end up with a real life "mission impossible" movie.
Given a choice between this movie and Transformers, I'd pick giant fighting robots every time.
