My combination garden diary, plant list & photo page... because I've got to keep track of it all somewhere.

kg - the 'geraniums' we grow are properly known as Pelargoriums & no, sadly they will NOT overwinter outdoors in our climate. You can overwinter them indoors though.Posted 05-21-2011 at 06:26 PM by CanadaSue

I had to look up Korean Bellflower. It looks a lot like Lily of the Valley. But lookie what I found too:

The roots are a Korean delicacy! So don't bemoan so many in your yard, get cooking!Posted 04-30-2010 at 07:49 AM by flourbug

AWESOME!
I'll be taking some today. The light is hard to use when it's sunny - too much blazing sunshine contrasted with deep shade. It's cloudy now but turning 'bright'. I'll get photos before nightfall & post them tonight.Posted 04-05-2010 at 01:42 PM by CanadaSue

First day of spring!
Mine in the shade are quite a bit later than the ones in the sun, Sue. Have patience.

I'm turning into a Gardenista
What a great stress reliever, to dig in the dirt and watch things grow and hopefully not perish in the summer heat! Have fun! My daylillies are full bloom and hydrangias (sp) have given several vases full. I love the flowers in the home...Spitting in the windPosted 06-23-2009 at 05:05 PM by spitting in the wind
