Well, it went better than I expected. The rest of the staff made everything so easy for me to just drop right in and teach. Of course, all I taught today was an intro lab... and I had an amazing TA to help out. He filled in all the gaps so smoothly that the students didn't even notice.

Tomorrow is the true test. I have a Medical Microbiology lecture and two med micro labs. It is going to be a loooonnnnnggg day. On the plus side... it is a subject that I really enjoy teaching....

As I type this, I am laying on the floor in my new apartment.

We arrived just a few hours ago. It was a long trip... between my nicotine addiction, Mama's lasix and Buffy's antsiness.. we stopped often. Mama's SO drove the whole way and was remarkably patient with all three of us. We were quite crowded in the truck, but I brought a few more things than I had originally planned to bring.
