Well I have downsized by 3/4 of my belongings.

Thanks to Sandy I have moved from the east coast, up scale, (absolutely needing a car for transportation) an affluent rural paradise to the west coast, low scale, grunge, an art filled experiment of low cost living without a car.

Will it be a revalation? Will it free me of social pressures which I usually ignore? Will it free me of conventions that I thought the norm.

This year the mushroom in abundance is the red capped Pungent Russula. Went across the street to pay my Russian Gardiner, and his grown son was mowing. The grass was full of these red capped mushrooms. He said the whole lawn was covered with them, from the stream to the driveways.

Recently have been having issues with gout in my middle finger.

At a buffet at West Point Military acadamy they had a tray of newly cooked large shrimp diavlo. I ate a dozen, and suffered for a week.
