I have an unformed thought on the hyper inflation path . . . something along the lines of it would be different this time . . . I wonder if this happened in Zimbabwe
back when they had hyper inflation you had to have coin or paper - so the wheel barrow was always the picture that conveyed what went down . . .
this time around we have plastic cards and the dollars are mostly digital
if the numbers got large enough we could have serious problems with computers - the databases that everyone uses for transactions have only so many spaces reserved for entering in the dollar amount -
What happens when a billion is too small and you need to enter in a trillion?
Imagine this as you are standing in a checkout lane at your local grocer.
Would all those zeros fit on the receipt?

The best grape kool aid is made with hot tap water then cooled for an hour or more in the fridge. The sugar melts and mixes properly. Making kool aid with cold tap water is just barbaric.
