STRONG WINDS FOR THE NORTH SHORES OF LAKE ERIE AND ONTARIO. THIS IS A WARNING THAT DAMAGING WINDS ARE IMMINENT OR OCCURRING IN THESE REGIONS. MONITOR WEATHER CONDITIONS..LISTEN FOR UPDATED STATEMENTS.
VERY STRONG WINDS HAVE DEVELOPED OVER LAKES ERIE AND ONTARIO IN THE WAKE OF A COLD FRONT THAT SWEPT SOUTHERN ONTARIO TODAY. SOUTHWESTERLY WINDS OF 60 TO 80 KM/H WITH GUSTS AS HIGH AS 100 KM/H ARE BUFFETING THE NORTH SHORE OF LAKE ERIE AND PARTS OF THE NORTH SHORE OF LAKE ONTARIO. Oh just wait. That rain is heavy and brutal. The drops are huge and the clouds are full. My basement is full of little streams. Good thing all the laundry was done yesterday or there would be one heck of a mess.

We got the huge gobs of rain earlier. The wind began waking me up around four - got up a little while ago... no sense in trying to sleep through it, just too loud.
