U.S. and Israeli officials say Syria has transferred Scud missiles to Hzbollah

If true, all Israeli cities are within range of the Scud's one ton conventional warheads. If Hizbollah stikes Israel with these weapons from Lebanon, I believe Israel will retaliate against Hizbollah, Lebanon and Syria. If Hizbollah attacks Israeli cities with Scuds using chem or bio payloads, I do not know what would happen, but it would be bloody.

The latest Debka report says they're only on the border and have not yet been shipped to the Lebanon.
I guess it will be pretty easy to monitor if/when they cross the border and are handed over to Hizballah. Will this be the match that lights to tinder box?

If diplomacy can't stop Hezbollah from getting scuds, what makes anyone think it can stop Iran from getting the bomb.

I thought it was obvious that, since the 2006 conflict, Hizbollah has been training and rearming for 'round 2'.

One would think a couple of Hellfires would take care of that problem pretty quickly.
BTW, it was Jordan that gave the warning, not Syria.
