The Bionic Cat
this could have gone in Medical News too, but given the Merlin thread, I thought it would go better here.
A cat in the UK lost both hind feet in a farm-equipment accident, and has had bionic replacements fitted. They are in two parts, if I'm reading the article correctly -- one part an implant into which the bone and skin grow, and an 'exoprosthesis' socketed into it that replaces the ankle and foot.
