Dawkins appeals to me I admit, and he, amongst others, should be compulsory reading in schools to add balance to the pro religious arguements. Then is is up to individuals to decide whether to believe or not.
I beleive in religious tolerance, but also the right to be secular..somthing the Pope does not.
CanadaSue, Ought, I think you are right. Despite the message many people in the UK believe that the Church should gets its own house in order before lecturing to others.
Had I realised there was a protest I would have gone...it was almost ignored by the media too busy fawning over the Pope. The media was very biased this week.
And dont get me started on cost..it would have been cheaper to send those devote Catholics who were interested to Rome for the weekend that have him and the disruption here.
