Also apparently suspending labor activism, judging from this tweet:

Egypt's military has dissolved parliament and suspended the constitution, two days after Hosni Mubarak, the long-serving president, stepped down in the wake of a popular uprising.
The country's Supreme Council of Armed Forces announced on Sunday that it would remain in charge of the country for six months until a new government is formed.

I hope that everyone can accept this and given the nation the breathing room it needs to absorb this huge change. The Army will have to act in good faith, or face a bloody revolution. But at least with the Army in charge, the chance of MB/Hamas stepping in and taking over is reduced.

No, but what are their prospects in an election?

By "their prospects", I assume you are talking about the Muslim Brotherhood? If so, here is my speculation.
Most polls show them getting 60% of the vote, which could give them a ruling majority in Parliament, and the Presidency as well. I think that if that happens, they will try to pass laws implementing a fairly strict Sharia regime. I suspect the Egyptian people would tire of that rather quickly, and hand them a serious defeat in the following election. I am not sure that the MB would accept that and relinquish power gracefully.

And of course for the MB to rule they will have to have complete control of the military. I do not see them holding power or even enforcing a strict Sharia Law without the aid of the military. I am at a loss as to what the military will do, if anything, to the current police force after their behavior.
