Yep, the Bear may not have much left in his quiver, but what he has left is enough and he will do what it takes to make sure that he keeps an edge.

MR. Bear may look upon the United States as an ally and his only hope vis-a-vis China but regardless, he is will not remove the crosshairs from her back.

And we dont trust them Russian bastards any either, even though we feel the same about Mr. Dragon.

Being Turkish, you of all people on this board should be cognizant of the Iran-Russia alliance. Links? No. But plenty of anecdotal evidence that Russia views Venezuela as its foothold in the W. Hemisphere. Add to this the fact that Russia supplies many, if not most, of the components for the missile systems in question.

True in the past, but not so much anymore. Russia fears Islamism with good reason. Recently, Russia refused to sell a sophisticated air defense system to Iran, though they could have made a hell of a lot of money doing so, and gotten a lot of political capital redeemable in Tehran.

O6 has said what i would, venezuela - iran alliance is deeper without russian help. They even have built acar factory ( french peugout) in venz.
