What the hay, I don't care what it's name is.
Is there a forum that is only readable by the Mods and the member who opened it?

If not, then why?

Help used to be readable only by the Mods and the member who posted their question. We did it that way because the old CE did it that way.

Then we changed... to the way it is now.

I would like the reverse. All my questions should be broadcasted to all users of the site. Thanks for making my dreams come true.

jason - we truly don't NEED to read you 'bellowing': "Honey, when's supper?" each & every day.

And your clean socks are in the 2nd drawer on the left... as you face the mirror.

I suppose. But I'm really not that used to talking in person to CanadaSue. I don't even know where she lives.

Sorry, the sock comment indicated a more personal relationship.

I knew the net was taking over when about 10 years ago, Brian emailed me from his bedroom to ask me whe supper was going to be served. I was sitting at my computer desk - not 40 feet away.

When my SD is ill in bed, (rarely), rather than try to yell if she needs something, she'll call the house phone from her cell phone.

Our house phones have an intercom feature that means I don't have to yell for my son. While he is wrapped up in a game or something that means he does not hear me, or so he says, he can't pretend not to hear the phone.
