I can see I will have to go back and read some
Oscar Wilde .

My previous and now apparently ignorant opinion
of him was witty , gay and probably very left wing .

Think again Ross . If the insights embedded in the
video below are at all representative then Oscar
Wilde had economic insights not commonly found
in the "lets redistribute your wealth" brigade .

I found the video below entertaining not because of a few
references to Oscar but because I love it when something
is so obvious that it escapes attention is brought in to focus
and clarified via the spoken word.

That was quite interesting. I can't say I agree or disagree as I'll have to watch it again for it to sink in. It was, however, entertaining.
