As much as $6.6 billion of Bush-era Iraq reconstruction cash remains unaccounted for and may have been stolen, a congressional auditor told the Los Angeles Times.
U.S. Defense officials still cannot say what happened to $6.6 billion, sent by the planeload in cash and intended for Iraq's reconstruction after the start of the war.
Was one of the pilots a Captain named J.Yossarian?

And, now they are turning out visting Congressional delegations (e.g., Dana Rohrbacher) who suggest the Iraqis pay it back. I am so glad we wasted $1T and thousands of soldiers' lives on this complete shithole. Let's add Syria and Libya to Iraq and Afganistan and make it 4 for 4. Nationbuilding does not work.
