There are not many other options. It would be illogical for them to get F/A-18s when they already have F-16s, and those are not being offered anyways. That would just complicate logistics. The are not going to offered and probably would not spend the money on F-35s or F-15SEs. America is the only nation willing to sell them fighter aircraft (which is why they have older F-16s now). So I am not sure what other fighter they could get.
