As with any food item, it depends on the ingredients and how it is made. Pizza in the average restaurant may not be very good for you. I have gotten pizza that was practically dripping in grease. When I make my own crust, I use half whole wheat flour and half all purpose flour in the dough, the topping is all vegetables, no meat. And I do add cheese.

I have a slice of pizza a few times a week from 4 different shops. All good. A quick satisfying and delicious meal for me. Sometimes it is two slices, but I really only want a larger slice than they give you, not two slices. I usually toss away some of the under crust if it isn't crispy so I really eat less than a slice which is why I want just a bit more.

Its nourishing. Some carbs, tomato and cheese protein. If you blot away a bit of the fat when it is re heated it isn't all that much fat..
