Arrow China launches 19,000 ton landing dock ship to support amphibious assaults

http://news.asiaone.com/News/Latest+...20-290044.html

China is starting to build out their amphibious assault capabilities. Taiwan should be extremely concerned about this latest milestone in an ongoing military trend in the PLAN (Chinese navy). But in the last several years, the Taiwanese Parliament has killed defense spending projects one after the other. Sadly, I doubt that this latest improvement in China's invasion capabilities will wake them up.
