IMO, this is extremely dangerous. Streptococcus strains are very adaptable. We have drug-resistant strains and strains that survive anti-bacterial soaps now because of its ability to adapt. All this mouthwash will accomplish is to create resistant strains of tooth decay bacteria.

Hmmm...I wonder if constant water-drinking would offer almost as much benefit, when it comes to caries. Your tools are important, though. I've found a huge reduction in plaque over the last year, using an Oral B Triumph spin brush, and thick, fuzzy Ultra Floss, as opposed to the thin, regular floss. I use the anti-bacterial rinses on occasion, but I've found a problem with them. No matter which one I use, 5 or 6 hours later, my tastebuds are still not working properly, and food tastes horrible.
