Iran moves forces to 'war alert'.

In the one photo I can find, IRAN is hiding the landing gear, and it appears that they had to use some "duct tape" on one of the wing roots of the UAV..,

A lot of that analysis mentions it's failsafe programming, including the hovering and auto-landing.

Perhaps the undercarriage is concealed because they could not
retract the wheels and do not want to publicize that it landed
rather than being shot down ( Undercarriage also damaged ? ) .

There were stories in the last few weeks of Pred drones being
infected with a virus logging key strokes . Confirmed or not ??

Look at the videos..,

It appears the vehicle may have landed a bit roughly. It seems the wings are "duct taped" to the wing roots. Also, they do not show the landing gear. Might it have been mangled in a crash?

If you are familiar with Iran's ongoing claims about their amazing military technology, you begin to realize they make Bagdhad Bob look like Abe Lincoln when it come to their veracity.

One example is their latest super-duper fighter plan that will 'sweep America warplanes from the sky!' It turns out they had reverse-engineered their obsolete 1970s-era low-end Northrop F-5 fighters, and were now producing them (at a pathetically slow rate). But they had put TWO TAILPLANES on it, instead of the one it originally came with, so this obsolete piece of crap was now going to be magically shooting down F-15s and F-16s left and right.

Another example was their new super-deadly anti-aircraft system that would also 'destroy Zionist and Satanic aircraft the moment they entered Iranian airspace!' It turned out they had built a big rack arraignment and mounted a dozen 12.7mm (.51 caliber Dshk) heavy machine guns on it. That was it.

There is a military forum I go on where the frequent Iranian proclamations of new high-tech military systems are always greeted with glee, and treated as high comedy. Some of the threads are pretty funny.
