A Taxing Time of Year...
I don't enjoy doing our tax returns. Not that ours are complicated - they're not. The way the forms are ordered makes it frustrating though. You end up with 'nesting forms' where you start with the main one, break off part way through to do the provincial return - which in turn must be stopped in order to do more specific forms for specific deductions or credits - first provincially, then federally. There can be anywhere from one to a half dozen of those & lines from some must be transferred to other forms & back & forth. It's headache producing. Once the 'lesser', specific forms are done, it's back to the provincial form & finally, finish with the federal form... times two. And I must put his net income on my form & vice versa - which means I have to have two returns on the go at once.
It will get done & all in under three hours but I'll have a raging headache & raging temper by the time I march to the mailbox & fling them in.
There - pre-emptive tax bitch in - I can check that off my 'To Do' list... LOL
