Isn't Malia Obama in Oaxaca right now?

News reports say she's 211 miles away. The quake was close to Acapulco.

Telephone sevice is down in the area. According to the Mayor's tweet, water system and other "strategic services" were not experiencing problems.

Seems like fortunately not too much in the way of damage. I'm not seeing any fatalities reported.

Some houses collapsed and around 500 were damaged along the Pacific Ocean coastline in the neighboring state of Guerrero, state Governor Angel Aguirre said in an interview broadcast on Milenio TV.
