Lightbulb Reducing electric bills with new battery system

Imagine a battery system that would charge during low cost times, to provide energy at peak use (cost) times. If this battery were non-toxic, reliable, had good discharge rates, had a 10 year life time, and were inexpensive too, it would sound like a dream come true. Well, it looks like CUNY Energy Institute has developed this dream with their operating prototype zinc anode battery system, which is expected to go into large-scale production this year.
