Typical attitude for a statist. Screw the free market, we will decide what, where and how much you can build, because we know what is best, and you are too stupid/evil to be allowed to decide for yourself.

It seems like the voter mandated requirements are doing California in. If you put it to a vote, of course they're going to vote to loot the system.
I think that in order to sustain the state, California will have to go back to a more republican form of government (note the little R) and bring some responsibility back to governance.

Despite Tax Increase, California State Revenues in Freefall. Revenue for the month of November 2012 fell $806.8 million. I guess this would only be a surprise to the Democrats.
