That has been my experience with cats and dogs my whole life. I've even had a baby duck or chick added a few times to the snuggles.

Memory just popped to the surface -- Tasha in a very similar position, with 4 Siamese kittens crawling all over her. She was afraid that if she moved, their mother would come and scratch her on the nose again.
