Default Loud music/noise

Sometimes there are clips/songs which make me happy but i'm afraid to put them into the Songs that make me happy thread because i'm sure some others will hate them on principle.

Might as well make a seperate thread for extreme music.

Peruse at yr peril.

Controlled Bleeding - Rhythm for a body bag

Quote:
Controlled Bleeding's sound is confusingly varied from album to album and has contained elements of dub, free jazz, noise, prog, sacred music, dark ambient, classical and music concrete. To their own detriment, the group has never cared much about generating or maintaining an audience, but just sort of does whatever inspires them in the moment.

With proper music you don't need to learn to dance.

A nice little documentary about grind core. Apparently they use being signed by Earache as the criterion but it's not quite right.

01. Napalm Death - If The Truth Be Known/Suffer The Children

True grindcore. I allways think that any real grindcore is ENT offspring.

02. Morbid Angel - Immortal Rites

No grindcore, death metal but great.

03. Nocturnus - Lake of Fire

Metal too. Always loved their sound with keyboards & the futuristic themes.

04. Paradise Lost - Dead Emotion

No grindcore either. Check out the Lost Paradise album. The first song is so like carcass but then it becomes something else, culinating in Gothic.

05. Prophecy of Doom - Rage Against Time

Grindcore? These punks had been around for ages. They are from an older generation. They shared their album with Axegrinder which is even more old school. Sort of think they are all more related to earlier music

06. Godflesh - Christ Bait Rising

This is fun. They were never grindcore but always went well in the mix. They were very loud.

07. Cerebral Fix - Unity For Who/Enter The Turmoil

Not like grind core either, they sound surprisingly much like trash metal. Still love the song.

08. Sonic Violence - Manic

The interview is really cute. More industrial stuff like Controlled Bleeding Above.

09. Bolt Thrower - Cenotaph

Not grindcore because it's metal. There's a fun interview where theirproducer complains about them having only four beats. They do milk it too the hilt. Me i love it.

10. Vengeance Rising - Before The Time

Also much more old school metal. Hadn't ever heard of them before i saw the youtube.

11. Entombed - Left Hand Path
Death metal not grind core but it's grand. Love the way they recorded their guitars.

12. Carcass - Reek of Putrefaction
Total originals. The sleeves were horrible but they also pushed some sonic envelopes.

Extreme Noise Terror ~ Another nail in the coffin

Terrorizer. Corporation Pull in.

Another great record. This is my faveorite song.

Rhytm section joined Morbed Angel & Pintado joined napalm death.

There still is a modern version:

Carcass ~ Genital grinder part 2

Those riffs 1 minute in and...

Paradise Lost

Puberty (Deadly Inner Sense)

Opening track of first album.

Inventing Gothic metal on track 3. The music is too nice for this thread but consider it a pointer:

Poppy Scorn (there's much less poppy stuff just can't remember the names of the songs but this is nicely annoying).

Rougher stuff (Napalm Death members):

Hey, if it makes you happy.... Everyone has different tastes in music and I for one, enjoy what you like and if you don't like a song then don't click on the link to hear it.

How does music become noise? And what constitutes music? Where does that arise?

Napalm Death.

Fathers of grindcore. The extremest punk you can play but only because of the metal drums.

*In our ruthless search for prosperity
*We become tools of our own opression
*Forming the backbone of a society that thrives
*On mass division

*From enslavement
*To obliteration

Bonus points if you can hear him sing it:

I stumbled across a nice video which shows grindcore from 1982-1990 , parts of songs + original artwork.
