That would weed out about 3/4 of the traffic.

If spelling and grammer could be held against someone, I'm a goner.

There are a number of words to this day I CANNOT reliably spell correctly. And my old keyboard with letters rubbed out, not to mention my four tinger typing mean a ton of typos.

The weird thing is when I was in middle school I had trouble passing English but I was reading at a college level.

That's because what the teach in "English" has absolutely nothing to do with communicating.

My main nemesis is....seperate. Separate?

No matter how many times I'm shown how to spell it, I want to spell it wrong every time.

There are very few words I can't spell. I don't know what it is about this one.

e/a in the middle of words is tough, as is anything ending in able/ible... or ant/ent Dependant? Dependent? Defendant? Defendent?

English is a confuzzeling language.

what fb said - is it a/i or e/i? ARGH!

That & the French in me compels me to add 'e' to the end of words. Develope to me, looks more 'right' than develop.

English is assembled from many sources and i think it has more words that require rote learning then German or French. Also more then dutch.

Things like gaol etc.

The test isn't that hard but i have always thought you could switch 'then' and 'than' at all times with english because the latter is just an older spelling but i guess that's not true.

Someone didn't proof the sign. I would have had my fanny in a sling if I let something like that go out of the shop I was in.

Try chinese where each word can mean up to 5 differant things depending on how you pronounce it.

Favorite example Yen Ging (sp) can mean eyes, eye glasses, or penis

I always remember "There is A RAT in separate"

It's that i before e except after c and all the other random times that it's backwards crap that gets me...at least in German the ie/ei order is apparent from pronunciation.
