Where's UKMum? She hasn't posted much lately.

We need an on-the-scene reporter!

Hey UKM!! Are you floating somewhere?

I know where she lives & she would have been well away from the worst of this - thankfully. Vince would have seen some rain I would imagine but not the worst of any flooding.

We did get hit sue but thankfully we had decided to go out for the day to alton towers. our garden ornaments were smashed with the hail stones and some people cars look like they have been hit by a small hammer and are covered with small dents. We were told it was so unreal by our neighbours.the roads when we came home we littered with leaves and small branches.

We avoided the worst of it down South, but definately a wet June! The gas company has been digging up the road to put new pipes down and its taken 6 weeks to do a small section as the holes keep filling up with water!

However the only 2 dry days have been the RMA day (Sandhust academy annual opening day) and our Armed Forces Day. This year was 200 years of the academy so was a wonderful day with marching frough the town etc.

Apart from that...weather has been complete rubbish. Garden looking wonderful and its a shame we cant sit out in it and enjoy!
