‘Mad Max’ Road Warrior vehicle
OK, the idea here isn't to create a movie replica but to show what can be done with whatever car you have to make it into a SHTF bug out vehicle.
Ditch the fake blower, throw some screen on the windshield and side window, switch to run flat tires, and there you go.
No need to buy some US$80-100k bug out vehicle.

How To Turn A Chrysler Sebring Into A ‘Mad Max’ Road Warrior
Jason Torchinsky
Carl Rice was given a 2001 Chrysler Sebring by his grandfather, which I think may be the most common way anyone ends up owning a Sebring. An accident on one of California's Hobbesian freeways led him to converting it into a post-apocalyptic survival machine.
Here's how and why he did it.
The Sebring stayed a normal, anonymous transportation appliance until Rice found himself in a seven-way accident on a Los Angeles highway. An accident where, alarmingly, not a single participant had insurance, so everyone just agreed to keep their mouths shut and get the hell out of there.
The Sebring's damage wasn't too terrible, being mostly localized to the front and rear bumpers. Rice looked into buying new bumper caps, but then thought "there's no way in hell I'm spending that much on a big piece of plastic." And that's the moment everything changed.

I see it has a number plate but find it hard to believe you can actually register
something like that for road use in the USA ?

Sure, as long as parts don't fall off and endanger people and it passes emissions testing you are good to go.

It does look weird, but California is a land of strange custom vehicles.

Depending on how low the seats are it appears to me that
the gismo in front may obscure a significant section of forward vision .
If so how can it be legal ?

I don't know about other states but the Texas criteria is here
http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/rsd/vi/...nCriteria.aspx
Select passenger car.
Nothing about seeing out front.
Seriously that would come under another law but it doesn't say how much. Officers discretion.

Come on, it isn't really that bad.
Not as bad as say Mumbai, Delhi, or Bangkok.

So they are working on the Bosphorus bridge?
Ok, no breakfast in Europe, Lunch in Asia, and supper in Europe next trip.
Things are going well. I guess the nazar boncugu is working well.

I always laugh. I wonder how many Christians went over the bridge not knowing whom it was named after.

It is a rumour that he was considering to add Christianity as an official religion of the Empire
