Default Last time I say this...

...really.

If Clinton is elected there will be a massive run on ammunition, magazines, firearms, and everything related.

Of the Senate flips 51/49 there will be a new so called Assault Weapon Ban which will encompass way more than "Ugly Black Guns".

I just made a pass at a large sporting goods place and they are well stocked with all of it.

In fact they were running an ad in the Sunday paper and had discounts on firearms and related products.

If you don't have what you want now I don't want to heard any b*tching and moaning about people scalping.

If you do I will laugh at you.

Surely all Clinton needs to do is establish a central gun owners registry
and make it illegal to own a gun and not be on it .

Then she will progressively increase the annual registration cost
year after year to make the burden unbearable for those holding
the more potent kinds of weapons .

( I am not saying I approve , just stating a likely course of action ) .

Constitutionally that would be impossible. Executive Orders wouldn't work. The next day there would be challenges in all the US District Courts from people with standing.

Someone would have to do introduce a Bill in Congress, well two one in the Senate and one in the House, get a majority in both Chambers. It would also have to include funding for a massive program.

Not impossible but unlikely.

I would guess a lot of the BATF appointees would change over and the rules would be tightened similar to the way Obama tightened Dealer Permits.

Don't want to give anyone ideas, but why spit in to the wind trying to control guns (too many and next to no records) wouldn't it be easier to control ammunition.\ Primers?

Yes people have lots stored, but won't take long to burn through if your practising. Once it runs out you basically have an unwieldy club.

Tried before and been to the Courts but no SCOTUS. Limiting and controls are allowed but they are afraid if they stop sales by law it may go the SCOTUS as a test case and it will be ruled as a Second Amendment violation.

They might lose it all.

I totally agree!

Firearm stocks too a big dump today and all of that inventory is dragging them down.

U.S. gun stocks tank following surprise Trump victory

Shares of gun manufacturers Sturm Ruger & Co. and Smith & Wesson Holding Corp. closed down 14.4 percent and 15.2 percent, respectively, during trading Wednesday. Both stocks are down by as much as 15 percent for the week.

....

San Antonio gun retailers said last week that a Trump victory could mean a glut of inventory that may have to be sold off through discounts and Black Friday deals.

You should see how much will fit in one of those big mortar cans. Pretty much need a dolly to move it very far

Limiting ammo and reloads would also be deemed unconstitutional infringement if if could be shown that such was the intent..,

I actually bought a box of ammo on Election day..,

Hardly a political statement.

BUT, the Springfield Arms AR-15 could well be called one. Though I justify this purchase with: this is a good firearm for my wife to use.
