Default Young Turks Election Day Meltdown 2016

What happens when you don't run an unbiased election night coverage show.

Yea, I know Young Turks is "independent Progressive".

Best Of The Young Turks Election Day Meltdown 2016: From smug to utterly devastated.

I watched some of that election night & the next day. I hope they've calmed down & started listening.

One thing I've yet to see, (haven't looked either), are exit polls asking people specifically WHY they voted for Trump. I'm willing to bet very few would say or even privately think - only because Hillary was female.

If they did not have profanity they would be inarticulate.

Apart from a very small percentage of misogynists I really think voters voted against Clinton because of who she is and all her baggage, not because of her gender. The whole patriarchy gripe is a lot of hooey...we aren't living in the 60's anymore and women aren't oppressed in the work force.

I viewed their coverage a few days ago, and laughed out loud.

You will note that the main theme of the show is a constant call for funding and donations.

There are so many websites now claiming that they want to dump Trump but can only do so if people donate money so that it can happen.

They are making a killing. Huge funds are pouring into these websites.

I remember years ago (1979) in Canada, and where some guy asked Canadians to donate one dollar to his website and he would use this money to entice Pierre Trudeau to step down.

Pierre Trudeau refused the money and to step down, and nobody really knows whatever happened to the funds which were collected.

I had to laugh at myself.

You are absolutely right. No internet in 1979.

The guy must of used a snail mail address.
