Default What's your favorite color?

The forum software won't let me list ALL possible colors, so I just went with the basics. I marked "Other" because my favorites are blue-greens like teal and turquoise and peacock blue. But there are very few colors that I don't like. Khaki, olive, taupe, drab colors like that.

Rats! I forgot to check Other.

My other choices are red, blue, yellow, green and orange.

Funny you should bring this up right now. For the last week I've been thinking about color and which is my favorite. Decided it is impossible to choose only one any more. I love color!! And the older I get, the more I love color and more often than not, the brighter the better.

Used to be I strongly favored just color. But the more I (ah...hem) mature, the more I love patterns. And paisley is my all time favorite, with florals an almost tie with paisley.

I voted orange, but honestly it's a range from mustardy yellow to burnt orange. Think fall leaves.

Mossy to olive greens are the runner-up.

Depends on where the color is being applied.

I wear mostly blues. Aqua, turquoise ( I know, that's green/blue, it's still blue to me), navy, pastel blue, periwinkle, denim. The whole range of blues feels good on me.

But in my home I never use blue. It's pastel greens, pinks, yellows, rose, lavender- Laura Ashley colors. But nothing is set in stone. The colors are all in accent pieces that I can put away when I want my home to be monochromatic whites. Which does happen regularly.

Now when I do art work I usually choose the most garish colors. Don't ask why. I don't know. Colors satisfy an itch in different parts of my life.

I've noticed that the older I get the more I like brighter colors and deeper colors. Used to be pastels around me but I wore deeper colors like browns and blues but that was to try ti hide the fat. Now I don't care if I'm fat or not, if I like a color I'll wear it.

Green - I LOVE green! But I can't wear it, it makes me look like I have the stomach flu.
So, I do enjoy wearing rich, dark plumy/purplish clothing. We're heading into the season where I get to wear those colors again.

My house has a bright sunny yellow kitchen that I painted with 2 different kinds of yellow that I mixed together. Living room is painted a green called Rye Grass. Bedroom is painted Sensuous Red. Bathroom is white but the tiles are black and white with an orange accent tile around the room. Back room/office is painted Diamond Blue

Can't wear pastel colours, I look washed out. Love deeper colours, reds greens, blues.
House is a mix of neutrals with Browns and greens.

I like the cool colors and I really dislike most of the warm ones. Burgundy is my favorite.

I like most colors, except pink and taupe, and I'm not real big on some orange tones. I don't mind mauve but there's just something about pink that makes me cringe.

I like the deeper colors - greens (except lime), the burgundy group of reds, brown, and blue. I like all shades of blue, from the lightest pastels to the blues so deep that they're almost purple.

The first three bars in the chart match their color choices, the rest do not. Why do I notice stuff like this??

I walked into the bathroom and noticed the purple theme in there was getting some bright partners. The plastics I've bought to hold things in there are need your sun glasses bright. I like it.

Turquoise, teal, aqua, sunshine yellow. I wear the first three, not the last.

The house is mostly sand and taupe. Duck egg blue for our new bedroom, purple (linens not walls) in the old. But this study is deep russet red, and the cloakroom almost black.
