I carry at home as well. Not all the time, but if I have strapped up, I usually don't remove it until I either change clothes or head for bed. On the days I do not hang iron from the hip, one is in reach.

Some graphic was in the original post that seems to have died.

I think it was the one where a guy told his wife he carried at home because of Decepticons. He ended up shooting the toaster to prove it to her.

During the summer I don't carry at home as I usually wear very little clothing. But in the cooler months I use a t-shirt holster and pretty much carry all day even at home. In the summer I just have a pistol in each room.

Those pocket holster in cargo shorts are fairly low key.

Of course you have to move to something lighter like. Glock 43, Ruger LCP, or Smith Airweight.

DeSantis Super Fly is a good one one.

I Used to carry a PPK, but my arthritis is getting so bad I couldn't operate the slide. I just got a Sig P238. Nice size, easy to rack a round and VERY accurate in .380. Fairly lightweight and easy to conceal. The PPK has been reassigned to the nightstand.

You could also ditch any adjustable sights on the PPK, go to pegged fixed sights, and rack the slide with your belt.

It is a common drill to teach officer to used when they have an injured hand
