Default Type A Flu

So I gots it... spent 4 days in the hospital cause of it! my O2 sats would not stay up. I got to come home tonight

Flu itself not so bad except for the sweats/chills

Happy to read you're home kg. They're running news stories here in Canada right now on how wicked this year's flu season is, especially for the elderly.

rb is right. Until last week, it was a slow & mild season. Suddenly, it's ramping up big time, both in numbers of cases & severity of some.

no I never get the flu shot at least not for like 10 years. They gave me the pneumonia one while in the hospital. but with my current lung issues I might start getting the shot now, it has not been fun. I was on o2 for nearly 3 days with breathing treatments every 6 hrs. the food was typical hospital food pretty bland but tasty non the less least I didnt have to cook

Take it slow for a while... it cn take a surprisingly long time to recover fully.

Sorry you've been puny...flu is no fun, especially when a hospital is involved.

Do take it slow in recovering. The older we get, the slower to recover. Take your time and don't push yourself.]
