The penalty is pretty light but I am not comfortable with the NCAA being a moral authority nor do I think that the students at school now should be punished for the criminality of past administrations. The law will deal with them.

When the machine and its cult like grip over the University is so rotten that it hides predatory sexual abuse for over a decade to protect itself, it needs to be dismantled.

I would suspect many of the guys at the top are still sweating possible criminal charges. 60 million? PSU has a 4.26 billion, with a B, operating budget for 2012. Somehow I think they will survive. 279 million comes from the PA taxpayers by the way. $16K/yr PA resident, $27K non-resident tuition and they need subsidy from the State??
