Default Wolf pack killed by sharpshooters

Wolf pack that killed cattle taken out by sharpshooters

"It was the hardest decision I've ever made both professionally as well as personally," Phil Anderson, director of Washington's Department of Fish & Wildlife, told NBC station KING5.com on Thursday after the last wolf, the alpha male, was shot dead. "Going out and killing wildlife is not what this agency is all about."

If they need killing, kill them. Otherwise, leave them alone like we want to be left alone. I'm pretty sure they were here first. Humans have a knack for screwing up everything they come in contact with. If I come face to face with a wolf that wants my blood and guts I will kill him if I have the opportunity. Otherwise, I will be just another few piles of wolf shit on the trail. Life happens...Get over it.

Uhmmm... good question. Seems like I had a point. Wolves are a sore spot with one of my good friends. Anyway, nothing to see here. Move along...

Well, nothing so far, anyway.

I posted the article because we have members in the general area and was wondering what they (among others) might think of the situation.

Removing the apex predators has a pronounced effect on an area.
