Default "Kind of" OK Knife

Have you wanted a generic knife for your BOB?

Have you wanted one that would perform well in the field but didn't want to risk losing your expensive custom made one?

Tractor Supply has a couple you might like.

Yea, I know, it is made from 3CR13 (Close to AUS4 so softer but not like machete steel) but they are only US$10.

OK, I am not going to give up my Al Mar SERE or Cold Steel Magnum Tanto but to lay around a couple "just in case" isn't going to tear the wallet out of my back pocket.

Both are full tang with through pins. Scales are called "wood" but to be honest it is hard like Pakkawood (phenolic resin wood.)

Cool.
I certainly like my fallknivens, bokers, etc and I have a couple cold steel Bushman knives that I bought for the same reason of having something I wouldn't cry over> Think I paid $17 for them and they are honestly surprisingly useful and durable.

For $10 I may pick up a few of these to keep in toolboxes and under car seats.
