Default Oooopsie .

Nothing to see here .

Just drowning European banks about to also drag down
the entire US riverboat gambling industry .

Quote:
U.S. global systemically important banks (G-SIBs) have more than
$2 trillion in total exposures to Europe. Roughly half of those exposures
are off-balance-sheet…U.S. G-SIBs have sold more than $800 billion
notional in credit derivatives referencing entities domiciled in the EU.”

Ok, I understand the individual words, but the whole is incomprehensible.

But then, so is all of economics and most investments. Stocks go up and down for no appreciable reason, and sometimes inflation is good and sometimes inflation is bad, with no explanation why what was good a month ago is now bad.

I am SURE we could get Ross to explain it or give us a good clue...... However, I gather that: "as Europe goes - so does the US economy".

Is that the bottom line Ross?

Agreed , however hopefully Trump will and/or his advisers will have
enough sense and integrity to let banks drown without stripping the
US public of wealth to save them .

Why should the US public be put a risk to save bank stock share holders.

The problem is that the banking industry and government activity have
become closely intertwined . IMO it is time to build a permanent dyke
between the two swamps .

ps ... Andy , several times you have implied I am knowledgeable .
Dunno how to tell you this mate but my act in most respects
actually resembles Charlie Chapman impersonating Hitler .

DO NOT PULL THE CURTAIN BACK MR. ROSS!!!

I know you are a financial "Wizard"!

You are quizzing us! You are leading us down the road of financial enlightenment without enough clues to truly grasp your wisdom. As you venture ahead of us - please drop a few bread crumbs "Mr. Chapman"!
