I had no clue clay tile roofs made good bat caves. You'd think it would be much too hot inside.

They should have set up some bat houses first.

We had frequent rat infestations in our tile roof in the house I grew up in. We tried to get the elderly couple to cut back the huge eucalyptus tree that was touching one side of our roof, but they would not do it. That is how the rats were getting up there. Finally, my brother got up there and trimmed back the tree as much as possible, and put poison bait up under the tiles all over the place.
