Default Work in progress: Critters in the Garden Quilt

I'm going to start posting the things I'm working on here. Maybe that will help keep me on-track and not run off to start something more interesting. Would there be any interests in a Crafts subforum for Works in Progress?

So, the WIP. Two of the three trees for the top panel, with plums on the top and peaches on the bottom. The tiny birds are 4 inches square, and much simpler and more stylized than the ones for the bird quilt.

I like the idea of the WIP sub-forum. It would be fun to watch the progress of people's projects.

And those of us in the peanut gallery could offer helpful (or not!) suggestions too.

EVERYTHING! Got some socks on the needles? Show us those. (And take pictures of your besocked feet when you're done!) Clothes, knitting, quilting, cross-stitch, needlepoint, the ceramic figurine you just poured, woodworking, painting, whatever creative work floats your boat.

Excellenter! I for one, would really be interested in peoples' projects in various stages of completion. It's a great way to get an idea of what different crafts & interests entail.

Ari - anything goes if it can be legitimately counted as a craft. Woodwork, needle arts, heck if we have some decorative bakers - I wouldn't mind seeing photographs of a cake work of art, at each stage. Sewing, (quilts, custom clothing), knifework - hi Max - anything that requires skill, patience, attention to detail...

I make jewelry but haven't done anything in about 8 years or so. All my stuff is in storage.

---------- Post added at 06:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:27 PM ----------

My eyesight has gotten to where it's hard to do the kind of work I do. Very fine, fiddly stuff.

Some more of the blocks that I already had finished. Please to ignore the loose thread twiddlins. (My Granny T's term for those loose threads and teeny bits of fabric that all quilters accumulate. )

Red face

Oops, forgot to attach them! No, the fabrics don't have wavy diagonal patterns. Something weird with the scanner...
