Default Britain's mightiest oak

A staggering 1,046 years old, it's still going strong (even if it is getting a bit stout around the middle)

Experts from the Ancient Tree Forum have estimated the age of one
oak at 1,046 years old — probably the oldest in Britain

Here's the Major Oak in Sherwood Forest.

A mere baby at only 800-1000 years old.

I'd say it's an adolescent. You can tell by how much showier it is than the senior tree. But, then that's a teenager for ya.
