Default Federal lawsuit accuses three insulin manufacturers of conspiring together to raise their prices

as research finds cost increased 120% over four years

Federal lawsuit accuses Sanofi SA, Novo Nordisk and Eli Lilly & Co of simultaneously increasing the price of insulin
Research firm found prices of drug from three companies increased between 99 and 120 percent from 2012 to 2016
Lawsuit plaintiffs claim that some skipped meals or underdosed their insulin because they could not afford treatment otherwise
Senator Bernie Sanders and Rep. Elijah Cummings asked federal antitrust regulators to investigate possible insulin price collusion by the three companies
All three pharmaceutical companies deny the allegations claimed in the lawsuit

Same here. Both parents developed Type 2 - I feel like I have a big target painted on my back.

But I'm not packing extra pounds, so, so far, so good.

Both of my parents were diabetic. Dad had insulin dependent Type 2 and Mom had Type 2 but only needed a pill. I'm diabetic and use insulin, lucky for me I have Medicare and Medicaid so my meds including the insulin are not high. I think this is why DS is loosing weight. Or it could be something I said to him years ago. He was waving a candybar in my face and telling me he could have it and I couldn't. I stopped the car, turned and looked at him and said that he has three grand parents and a parent (later both parents) that are diabetic and he was a fat kid. He's more likely to become diabetic in later life than his thin brother.
