Thumbs up http://www.thewhig.com/2015/03/18/sunnybrook-testing-patient-for-ebola

***TORONTO - An Ebola scare at Sunnybrook hospital turned out to just that as a patient has tested negative for the deadly virus..

The hospital announced Wednesday evening the patient has been given the all clear.

The hospital had taken in a patient who recently returned from West Africa, an area which is the source of the Ebola outbreak, and was suffering from nausea and fever.

The patient was placed in a negative pressure room.

All precautions were taken, even though the chances of the virus being present were slim, said Dr. Andy Simor, head of microbiology at the hospital.

"We (were) being cautious because the patient was in an endemic area in West Africa, but left more than 21 days ago, which is post incubation period," Simor said.

Sunnybrook has been designated as a referral hospital to receive any suspected cases of Ebola.

The Ebola outbreak has killed more than 8,400 people, mostly in Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone...***
