Default Which one do you like best?

So I've been sucked into Pinterest, and the ideas from there are percolating through my brain, and from there into my EQ quilting program. Which of these possible quilts do you like?

Both are incredible! But, I went with number one. I could see it on a bed with pillows and the design is balanced, more so than number two.

It depends on what the furniture is like. If it were dark and something like mission styling, I'd go for 1. If it is lighter and less substantial build of furniture, I'd go with 2.

Overall just looking at the patterns, I like 2 better.

Option number 2. It pops out more due to the light colors.

MA, just curious...can you easily switch the blues in #2 to golds? Just wondering if it would look like poinsettias.

Easy, just a few keystrokes. If you don't have EQ7 already, you might want to look into it.

Wow! With the gold fabric, it really looks spendy & exotic.

MA, I looked into EQ way back when we only had Macs, and decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Now that I have a Windows laptop, it's time to re-think. Thanks for the reminder.

It does have a fairly steep learning curve, but once you get that down you can crank out designs like nobody's business. (And if you just want to look at it and play for a while before you drop almost $200 on it for EQ7, I have a copy of EQ4 I can send you.)

Thanks for the offer, MA. It wasn't EQ that I found a hassle, it was all the workarounds to run it on a Mac at the time. I'd been through it to run Family Tree Maker on a Mac and it was a world of pain at the time. Very unstable.

I went with 2 but like 3 even better. 2 would be great for every day and then 3 for the winter holidays.
