Red face Alarmist meltdown imminent ?

Quote:
Just in the last few weeks alone, another 20 scientific papers were
identified which link solar variations to climate changes, which means
58 papers have already been published in 2017.
Meh , only 58 new climate research papers in the first 5 months of 2017
link recent warming to the suns output rather than CO2 being the
primary driver .

I think this is because they have new math models that are "alarmingly" accurate.... like 97%.

Thus, (!!!!!!) we have a 97% chance of going into a mini ice age starting around now. Did you hear about the rich kid using a puppy to polish his Porsche? This still upsets me!

Uh, Oric...

Your graph proves an incipient ice age, Thanks!

Increase cloud cover in Article during winter means more snow and ice.

No clouds, no precipitation, much lower temps

Your logic fails you....

Ice sheets grow quicker with snow, top down, than salt water freeze, bottom up...

Thicker ice translates to lesser summer melt.

Feedback loop ensues.

the problem is .. more and more sea ice cover is lost every year and snowfall can't produce ice on liquid water. less ice cover means more warmer air to reach even higher latitudes and this is the feedback that kills existing seaice

Well, here is current ice extent...

Arctic Sea Ice Extent

Notice that for this time of the year there is more ice than there was in 2016, 2015 and 2014. This ice extent is also just inside one standard deviation of the mean for all recorded years from 1981 to 2000.

Not much indication of serious Arctic ice melt. Let's wait and see what the indication is for the coming middle of September.

Remember, we are not supposed to see any sea ice at all during the Arctic summer.
