Default TBM Bird Quilt Choices

As folks choose a bird, I'll post the member name and the name and a pic of the bird that MA could use to base her design on. The pic can be one that you've chosen and posted, or come from a link. We might eventually create a photo album of these pics and then add pics of the blocks that MA creates.

Anyone who wants to see if a bird has been chosen yet can just check this list.

If this works for everyone, I'll start the list and stick it tomorrow.

OK, Catbird, you keep them straight.

And any other quilters who want in on the fun, pipe up! Is there something YOU would like to make and contribute?

MA and I think it's important that we also include memorials for the members who we've lost. She's working on finding something that will best show Sarrah. I've chosen this for Coyote. I'm pretty sure that it's a Northern Harrier Falcon. I think he'd be pleased with it. If anyone else wants to choose a falcon, there are other types you can pick.

ETA: I wanted to add that while looking for the pic last night, I was inspired by a comment he had made in a the thread "If You Really Love Me".

Quote:
One night she made me promise, "no fears, no regrets".

If anyone else would like to choose a memorial for some other member, please feel free to post a pic or link here.

Ya'll have made me leave lurkdom for this thread. I think Lars would most appreciate the Coot -- and we have them on our little lake here not a mile from where he lived.

Has anyone chosen a Cardinal yet?

If so, I'll take a Blue Jay instead.

Folks, I ended up having to have some minor surgery this evening so I'm kind of out of it.

Tomorrow, I'll get to work organizing the who and the whats so that everyone will be able to tell which birds have been chosen.

It's a quilt for Pete's sake. It can wait. Hope you heal up soon!

(((Catbird))) Just take care of you. Besides, doesn't MA have to finish 437,893 other projects to finish before she can start this one?!?

( Teases the women who has several totes of yarn and at least one tote full of hand knitted hats in the garage . . . And it doesn't even snow here! But, hats I can knit while jacked up on pain killers, post-surgery/accident, while watching endless reruns of Dr. Who . . . )

Or if taken, a Wren.
