Pamcat, D. Gale already chose the Blue Jay. Do you have a second choice?

OK, sulphur-crested cockatoo for Key. (The spell-checker doesn't like 'sulphur' -- it wants 'sulfur.')

Here's the osprey I like for rootdiggr.

This quilt is going to be gorgeous ! At times like this I almost wish that I enjoyed sewing........But, I don`t......so be it....

My hands are so painful when I do any bit of fancy work that I pretty much don`t do anything.

Of course that doesn`t stop me from buying more yarn, crochet thread or cross stitching stuff. And, I have a closet full of supplies.

For the sulphur crested cockatoo - will the crest be furled or open?

I'll add Key and a pic to the list.

And we're still holding a spot for Pamcat.

Once she confirms, we'll have reached our max of 30 blocks.

This is going to be awesome.

Wow!

We are gonna want lots of photos - the whole quilt & each block.

Before I forget - what are the dimensions of each block & will you have a solid strip or something of the sort between the blocks?

Key and Pamcat have been added to the list.

And that's all folks! All 30 blocks have been taken and the Bird Quilt is now in MA's capable hands!

MA is making ladybugs, currently. Hundreds of ladybugs, thousands of ladybugs, millions and billions and squillions of ladybugs.

OK, it's only 24 ladybugs. It just FEELS like squillions!

Since Lily requested to be removed from the TBM Bird Quilt, that makes 1 block available.

If you want to join the nest, just post your choice here and we'll add you to the list.

Would it be possible to put a representation of our marble on the back?

That's certainly something to consider. There is a specially treated fabric that you can run through your computer printer; that was how I did the 'signatures' for rb's quilt. I think it gets ironed afterward to set the ink. It's used a lot in photo quilts.

Anyone yet with Carolina Wren...feisty and tenacious for such a little one...Some Indians called it: "big voice, little body"...(like me)...

There is now. We have Carolina wrens nesting in our backyard. I hear them all summer. There was one, down in Georgia, that used to nest in Dad's workshed, in his box of nails.

Thymeless has jumped into the nest as a (fiesty) Carolina Wren.

And once again, the quilt is full at 30 blocks.
