Sunset Beach, Oregon

WTF?!

Roadside blackberries

I've been wanting to come back here for years (20?) since we stumbled across it

Did we somehow get the same camping spot? It sure looks like my old picture of our campsite (will have to post old pic when I get back home)

Lake Sylvia was formed when they dammed a small creek near where they were logging

As I said, a happy place for me - good to be back

So a year ago we were in Germany, and today we're in a little German town called Leavenworth, in the Washinton cascade mountains

Emily wanted to go swimming but was upset because she didn't have her bathing suit. I convinced her it was alright...

Back across the border and into BC - it's strange how not a lot really changed but yet it feels more relaxed like home...

Visiting roadside fruit stands - cherry season is pretty well over but lots of peaches, apples, etc

Syrups, jams/jellies, honeys, vinegars, ciders too

No one would pose by the caterpillars

Flea market near Enderby. BC

Refused to flap arms in sync with fan elephant so no video

Enderby was the town where Renée attended the SOAR 2014 jamboree with Girl Guides, so we did a stop to see the site where the girls camped/ate/etc

Looks a lot like a hotel I stayed in on the Lake of the Ozarks years ago.
