Below is a chart of the London stock market index ( the FTSE ) .
at London time 2 pm .

It was highly predictable that on the last day of the financial year
corporate criminals would pump stock prices to make their books look good .

Naturally I am buying 'shorts' on the market index as it rises in anticipation
of corresponding falls next week . With any luck corporate mafia
will take the index to 5800 and beyond .

Trust me on this people , I feel no sense of shame whatsoever .

Well actually that is not quite true , I feel some sense of shame at
being too much of a chicken to bet heavily .

not that I'm saying that I've ever bought a option with one day to expiration. no.

but I'm sure the movers and shakers have.
