you're using FireFox right? try this browser add-on, "NoSquint" and see if it helps.
linttrap recommended it sometime ago in the technology sub forum.

I've set it on mine to enlarge both text and images. Puts a " - / + " , "zoom out" and "zoom in" on the address bar.

I found 4 & 6 and then 1 & 2. Shoot, there are times I can't find my own cat in a room.

I got the ones from posts 34, 35 and 36 but I'm stumped on 37.
